Veroshield Rackcase (from design to reality..)
Verotec were recently approached by defence company Leonardo, with an urgent requirement for a 19”, 8U high, 650mm deep customized enclosure for a piece of electronic test equipment.
The application required a high degree of RFI shielding for the components within; so our standard VEROSHIELD product was proposed as a base from which to work from. 3D CAD data was immediately shared with Leonardo’s designers, providing 75% of the design brief straight away, and after a couple of weeks, the drawings were complete.
The finished product was punched, formed & machined from galvanised Steel & Aluminium with the front panel engraved and back filled with black ink.
